**This should take 6 to 10 minutes**
1) Look for PowerBullet under the Programs menu on your Windows computer (click START on your taskbar, then Programs, and then PowerBullet).
2) Run the PowerBullet program.
3) When PowerBullet is running look under the HELP menu for a "GETTING STARTED" menu item. Select "GETTING STARTED" from the HELP menu. This will open a Web page that shows the basic PowerBullet user interface.
4) After reviewing the interface advance (move forward) to the next slide in this presentation by clicking on the red arrow at the bottom of the page. The red arrow will bring you to a page that starts a basic (beginner) PowerBullet tutorial. DO THE TUTORIAL! Take your time, and follow the instructions in the tutorial (that is, read the instructions and then do them in the PowerBullet program). Work on the tutorial at a comfortable pace: don't rush!
5) After you finish each page of the tutorial advance (go forward) to the next page by clicking on the red arrow at the bottom of the page. Work on the tutorial at a comfortable pace: don't rush!

Before you watch and follow along with the next video, find some bitmap graphics to use in your Flash file. There are some bugs with certain bitmap files, so if the graphic you are using is not working, simply switch to another one. Chose bitmap graphics of all shapes and sizes.

At 7:45pm meet with the Professor in Audio Whiteboard to discuss your Powerbullet work so far. We will take attendance, answer questions and discuss the assignments due for tonight's class.
For the assignment for this class, upload four Flash files (.swf). Only upload the 4 .swf files to the Internet for grading. NOTE: TAKE SCREENSHOTS FOR YOUR BLOG SINCE BLOGGER DOESN'T SUPPORT UPLOAD OF FLASH FILES.
Assignment #1.
Create a Flash file that animates your name. Choose a background color, font, font color, font size and any animation from the pulldown that you choose. Upload the .swf to your website.
Assignment #2
Create a Flash file that animates an object. You can choose a ball or a square. Choose a background color, object, resize the object, change the line and fill color and any animation from the pull down that you choose. Upload the .swf to your website.
Assignment #3
Create a Flash file that animates an image. You can choose any bitmap image that you. If the image is not working for you when you test, simply delete that image and choose another image. Choose a background color, image, resize the image, and any animation from the pulldown that you choose. Upload the .swf to your website.
Assignment #4
Now, using all of the experience that you have developed in the last three assignments create a larger Flash file that contains all three elements from above.
