Submitting Homework File
- Go to the class list page at Yahoo! Groups at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/mt34801/
- Sign in using your Yahoo! user name and Password
- Toward the top of the page, you will see an empty box next to a button that says Search. In the empty box type your Yahoo! User name or your Yahoo! email address or just a portion of your name. In my case, I typed in babsmikolajczak. I could have also typed in Mikolajczak.
- Click the Search button.
- All the messages that you have posted to the list will appear in the list.
- Locate the messages that contain the homework assignments that you have submitted over the semester.
- Click on the Subject of one of your homework assignments. In this example, it is Homework Example Post.
- Once you click on the subject of the message it will take you to a new page that shows the time stamped version of that message.
- Go to the top of your window in the address bar and highlight and copy that address. In this example the address is: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/mt34801/message/5323
- Open your blog (at http://www.blogger.com) and paste the address. Again in this example the address is: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/mt34801/message/5323
- Go back to Step 4 and find the next homework assignment that you completed. Follow steps 4 - 11 until you have pasted in all of the homework assignments that you completed for the class.
- Email me the address of your blog with all of the links at mikolajc@bc.edu
Important Notes:
- Only copy and paste in the homework assignments - not your
questions/answer emails. I will review you question/answer emails and
base your list activity on that. This is a confirmation of your
homework and the skills you learned in class.
- The URLs must be in taken from the class list. To confirm they will
look like this: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/mt34801/message/??????
- I will only grade the homeworks that arrive in this format. If your
homework is not listed in this format it will be graded as a Failure.
- The emails contain a time-stamp, so if the homework was late it will be
given a Failure.
- If you attended class your homework is due on Mondays. If you did
NOT attend class your homework is due on Friday. If your homework is
late it is graded as a Failure. I will compare all dates against the
class attendance sheet.
